The Novi Pazar branch was founded on May 18, 2024, by holding the Founding Assembly at the State University of Novi Pazar. In addition to professors and assistants of the Chemistry study program, the founding assembly was attended by the president of the Serbian Chemical Society, prof. Dr. Dušan Sladić and Dean of the Faculty of Science and Mathematics in Niš, prof. Dr. Niko Radulović. This event was attended by chemistry teachers and principals of primary and secondary schools from Novi Pazar, Sjenica, Tutin and Raška. On that occasion, members of the branch’s management and supervisory board were appointed. The branch gathers professors and assistants from the State University of Novi Pazar, as well as primary and secondary school teachers from Novi Pazar and surrounding towns.
