Promotion of chemistry

One of the important tasks of the Serbian Chemical Society is the promotion of chemistry.

Research shows that, according to our students, chemistry is one of the most difficult subjects to learn, both in elementary and high school. Also, students do not consider chemistry important for everyday life, as well as for their future profession. Therefore, the promotion of science in general, including the promotion of chemistry, is very important, and it implies the spread of scientific culture and scientific literacy, as well as pointing out the different values of science by connecting researchers with other actors. The members of SHD have various activities to promote chemistry among students and in general.
